This European-restored beauty has an amazing history! It given by the Bechstein factory to the granddaughter of Queen Victoria as a wedding gift in 1892. Upon her death, the piano was donated to a school, then given to the headmaster upon his retirement. After being sold in London, it was restored about 5 years ago in Poland using the original soundboard. Every other internal part was replaced. The cabinet is the original bookmatched burl walnut. Included is a new duet bench built by the restorer to match the piano. Musically, it is everything you would expect from a Bechstein of this size, and has been recently fully regulated.
